Alltrax Electric Vehicle
DC Motor Controllers:
The Electric Vehicle:
As the threat of world stability drives oil prices higher,
people are becoming aware of alternative drive systems,
taking control of their energy consumption, and choosing
alternatives to traditional hydrocarbon transportation.
Alltrax is a USA based company that builds rugged electric
DC motor controllers using the latest power electronics
technology. The physical aspect provides flexible and
convenient solutions for various electric motors used in NEV
(Neighborhood Electric Vehicles), golf car, people carrier,
process equipment, industrial, and electric recreational
vehicle applications.
What Sets Alltrax Apart from the Competition?
NEV Markets
Oil market prices have driven a large
demand in Neighborhood Electric
Vehicle (NEV) development over
2005-2006. Alltrax is participating in
several NEV programs including 25
and 40mph vehicles.

> Over 90,000 Alltrax
Electric Motor Controllers
have shipped. Each unit
reduces thousands of
pounds of greenhouse
gas emissions each year.
[ An Engineered Solution ]
People Movers, Special Transportation
Special transportation using electric
vehicles has tripled over the last three
years. Alltrax provides performance
controllers to several major customers
who require more torque and flexible
features for a demanding application.
After Market Sales; Golf and EEV's
The golf car after-market has grown
over 10% in 2005 and has exceeded
2006 goals of over 25%.
Experimental EV research is an
important part of the Alltrax past,
present and future. Several schools
and college EV challenges and races
have been won powered by Alltrax
controllers.
Industrial and Process Equipment
The industrial material handling
markets require higher performance
controllers. This includes re- builders,
OEM, and special design applications.
The Alltrax controllers' thermal and
power performance is better than
most manufacturers' requirements.
Golf Fleet and OEM applications
Original equipment manufacturers
(OEM) and fleet golf applications
require a reliable cost effective
controller. Alltrax provides flexible
tools and adapters for many golf car
vehicles.
The many golf cars platforms, ground
keeping utility vehicles, and multi
person cars require electric motor
controllers that can serve many
different needs.
Marine After Market & OEM
Applications
The marine market is a new and
emerging opportunity for those who
compete against the hydrocarbon
driven boats. Advanced motors,
battery technology, and environmental
water quality concerns have provided
boating enthusiasts an electric
alternative.
Harsh environments, high customer
expectations, and flexible design
requires high performance and high
quality products.
Electric Vehicle applications
Driven by high oil prices, the
traditional EV market has expanded
exponentially. From conversions to
OEM applications, the motor and
controller combination provide the
customer solutions using proven and
viable technologies.
High customer expectations and harsh
environments have customers seeking
high performance alternatives for
on-road vehicles. The company
founder designed our products for
racing applications, thus the company
was born "At the Race Track"

NEW For 2010 Motor Controller Applicaiton Guides

So, "What is an Electric Motor Controller?"
The DC electric motor controller (speed controller) interprets
the 'users throttle input' and then modulates power from
the battery to the electric motor. As the throttle is
increased, the motor controller output power increases the
motors speed and/or torque. Some controllers can also put
some energy back to the battery called Regenerative
Braking.
The Alltrax electric motor controller works similar to a
throttle and the automotive gasoline carburetor.
Over the past few years, Alltrax worked closely with several motor manufacturers to bring the most complete Application Guide!
Including GE, Admiral, D&D, and ADC motors.
